GMP? Or something like that.
So I decided I should change my journal colors to match my Amélie icons, mood and otherwise. The old color scheme had been there since December, so I was getting a little sick of it. Time for something oversaturated with color. . .
There are so many beautiful mood icon sets floating around out there, I doubt anyone would be interested in this one, but just in case, I thought I'd share them anyway. You can preview the full variety of moods here, in all their glory.
Instructions:
Stolen from several people, with so many iterations, I can't keep track anymore. But thanks to whoever wrote this out originally, and everyone in-between.
Remember, this will only work for paid users!
1. Save this file to your desktop (right-click, save as): amelie.txt
2. Go here: Admin Console (this link will open in a new window so you can finish reading the instructions)
3. In the box, enter: moodtheme_create "Amelie" "Les Fabuleux Destins D'Amelie Poulain" (or whatever you want) and then click "execute".
4. The next page says, "Success. Your new moodthemeid=#." This number is very important, so jot it down. Don't close this window!
5. Open amelie.txt.
6. Change all of the "3879" to that number you jotted down earlier.
7. Go back to the browser window you left open. In the box under where it gave you your mood icon set number, copy and paste all the codes from amelie.txt. (remember that all the 3879 should be changed to your number). Click "execute".
8. If you did everything correctly (and if I explained it all right) the page should say, "Data Inserted" over and over. If something went wrong, it'll say, "Failed! You do not own this theme!" And honestly, if that happens, I have no idea what to do. ;)
9. Now that you've got your new mood theme all inserted, you should go to your Modify Journal page.
10. In the drop down menu where you usually pick your mood theme, choose "Amelie". It's at the end of the list.
11. Click "Save Changes".
You are done! Amélie moods for every occasion! Or, at least, every occasion sanctioned by the LiveJournal powers that be. Feel free to use them and spread the word.
If you do use the Amélie moods, please leave a comment and let me know so I can keep track. And so I can smile and love you back.
ETA: Please, if you have your own website and are capable of hosting the mood icons for yourself, do so! I have a fair bit of bandwidth, and I don't mind sharing with those who have no other option, but there are limits.
If you can host for yourself, just right click and download mood.zip (533kb), unzip, and upload to your own webspace. You'll have to change the URLs in the mood.txt file to the location of the images on your own server, then follow the directions as above. If the damand on my own server becomes too great, then I may have to take the mood set down, and I'd hate to do that. Thanks.
Edit 3-27-04: Updated versions of the images uploaded on my server and in mood.zip to correct aspect ratio and improve quality of some of the caps. Also changed the image entirely for 3-4 of them.

accomplished
keep up the beautiful work.
I'm about to start the process, and I wanted to thank you before I got lost in it.
Thanks so much for sharing them with us, you are awesome!
♥
I was wondering if I could use them on my blog (Considering the fact that I don't have enough money for a paid LJ). Full credits would be given on my sidebar with a link back to your LJ or your webpage. And oh, I would host them myself.
Thank you for your time!
And before I forget, if you'd like the URL to my blog first:
http://rinoa.dejikochan.com
i change everything often and
i needed something refreshing right now!
crediting you on my user info page~
thank you!
*mwa*
:)
Small note: you've got an extra "image" in the address for the predatory mood in the mood.zip txt file. Wouldn't have noticed unless I was doing a find/paste thing, but thought you might want to know if you hadn't seen it already.
Glad you like the mood theme!
Yay.
hey!
nnrrrgh!
is it possible to submit them to the lj ppl or something?
